“As a Navy veteran, I understand that the transition from service doesn't end when you hang up the uniform. Battle Buddy Backup (BBB) was born out of a necessity to ensure our brothers and sisters in arms have the 'tactical advantage' they need to thrive in civilian life.

My mission is simple: to protect the bond between veterans and their service dogs and to provide high-impact community programs like Healing Through Paintball. We aren't just a non-profit; we are a support system. We stand the watch for those who have served, ensuring that no veteran—or their battle buddy—is left behind."

She is the quiet force behind the scenes, offering strategic guidance and ensuring every decision made serves the ultimate goal: supporting our veterans and their battle buddies with integrity and purpose. Her commitment to the 'big picture' allows BBB to grow sustainably while never losing sight of the individuals we serve."

On a personal level, Ian is a dedicated family man and a foundational voice for the organization. His friendship with JC spans over 20 years—a bond so deep that John personally officiated his wedding. This personal history of trust and devotion informs his role: providing candid, thoughtful input on strategic decisions and governance. Though Ian is a non-voting advisor, his highly considered input ensures that BBB’s operational integrity and focus on the human element are never compromised."
